Jayson Prisand is a Partner in the Firm who has twenty-nine years of experience as a certified public accountant, lender, and provider of real estate related consulting services. He works closely with his clients, providing them with business consulting advice including cash flow management, budgeting, and business expansion planning.
Mr. Prisand is a frequent speaker on subjects relative to the Common Interest Realty Association ("CIRA") industry and has presented workshops on subjects such as budgeting, accumulating and investing reserve funds, mortgage refinancing and conflicts of interest. At numerous housing conferences sponsored by The Council of New York Cooperatives and Condominiums, he has presented a workshop entitled "Responsibilities of Building Treasurers".
In addition to working with the Firm's Cooperative Housing and Condominium Association clients, Mr. Prisand heads the Firm's Financial Services Group, which provides accounting due diligence, financial testing, and other consulting services to financial institutions and owners and developers of commercial real estate.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Prisand served as a Managing Director and co-head of the New York office for the Situs Companies where he directly supervised due diligence, underwriting and other consulting services for commercial real estate properties and loans in excess of $5 billion and as a Director in the Real Estate Finance Group of CIBC World Markets, where he served as a senior underwriter and transaction manager. Mr. Prisand’s formative accounting and auditing skills were initially developed during his tenure at Arthur Andersen LLP and JP Morgan & Co.
Mr. Prisand is a Certified Public Accountant who earned an M.B.A. in Finance and Management from New York University's Stern School of Business and a B.S. in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
