Norman Prisand is a Partner of the Firm. He has practiced in the Cooperative Housing and Condominium Association field for more than forty years and has trained many of the industry's leading practitioners. Mr. Prisand has vast experience helping cooperatives and condominiums develop their financial strategies, investment decisions and budgetary plans. He is a frequent speaker on subjects relative to the industry. At various conferences, he has presented workshops on topics such as budgeting, accumulating and investing reserve funds, mortgage refinancing and conflicts of interest.
Mr. Prisand is a Certified Public Accountant and formerly was a tenured professor within the City University of New York. He holds two Masters Degrees in Accounting and Finance from the City University of New York and a BBA in Accounting from Baruch College. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
